What data we process

The data you give us when you write to us through the form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp: name, email, phone, company, your message and any files you attach (drawings, photos…). We only ask for what we need to reply.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects data about your visit (pages viewed, type of device, approximate city), which we only see in aggregate: the details are in the cookie policy.

What we use it for

To answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, prepare and send you a quote. If we end up working together, to manage that job.

We do not use it to send you advertising without your permission, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions.

Legal basis

Your consent, given when you tick the form box or write to us, and pre-contractual steps taken at your request, such as preparing a quote (article 6.1 a and b of the General Data Protection Regulation).

For website analytics, your consent in the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

If the enquiry does not lead to a job, for one year at most. If we work together, for as long as the professional relationship lasts and then for the periods required by law (tax obligations and professional liability).

Who else sees it

It is not passed on to third parties unless required by law. It is accessed, only to provide us with their service and under a contract that obliges them to protect it (data processors), by Hostinger International Ltd., which hosts the website and whose server the form messages pass through; Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., our email provider, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics).

Google may process data in the United States. It does so with the safeguards required by the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

If you write to us on WhatsApp, that message is also processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@alcuboingenieros.com with the subject “Data protection”.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
